Message	I've had my 99 Jspec bumper for 11-12 years with that tab removed. There is no deformity/sag whatsoever. The ambient temperature sensor on the JDM model is supposed to mount there, but I find it works just as well when positioned discretly above the bumper lip/out of sight.
